Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
