Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
