Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
