The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the racers, panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
