The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
