The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 A burning fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
