The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
