The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Calamity! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
