The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
