Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The craving for excess wealth kept you people neglectful. 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
