Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 You will be shown hell 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8
