The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
