The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 In outstretched columns. 9
