The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 The fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 Lo! it is closed in on them 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
