The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Reaching right into the hearts of men, 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In extended columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
