The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 covered down upon them, 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
