The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant? 1 Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray? 2 Thus, He let loose upon them great swarms of flying creatures 3 Striking them with stones of baked clay. 4 And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). 5
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
