Believers, do not devour usury multiplied many times over. Fear God, so that you may prosper, 130 Keep away from the Fire prepared for the infidels; 131 Obey God and the Messenger so that you may receive mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord; and a Garden, the extensiveness of which is (as) the heavens and the earth, it is prepared for those who guard (against evil). 133 who spend in the way of Allah both in plenty and hardship, who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers." 134 (Paradise) is also for those who, when committing a sin or doing injustice to themselves, remember God and ask Him to forgive their sins. Who can forgive sins besides God? And who do not knowingly persist in their mistakes? 135 For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens beneath which rivers flow – abiding in it forever; what an excellent reward for the performers (of good deeds)! 136 Similar situations [as yours] have passed on before you, so proceed throughout the earth and observe how was the end of those who denied. 137 This (Quran) is a reminder for the people and a guide and advice for the pious. 138 And faint not, nor grieve; ye shall overcome, if ye are believers. 139 If a wound (and killing) has touched you, be sure a similar wound (and killing) has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allah likes not the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). 140 Allah's object also is to purge those that are true in Faith and to deprive of blessing Those that resist Faith. 141 Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast? 142 You were longing for death before you met it; now you have seen it, while you were beholding. 143
