Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7
True are the words of God the Almighty.
