Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
