Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
