Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
