Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 and also his wife who carries the fuel, 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
