Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 he shall roast at a Flaming Fire, 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
