Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 He will suffer in a blazing fire 3 And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
