Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! 1 His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned. 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales; 4 Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
