Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Say: 'I take refuge with the Lord of Daybreak 1 From the evil of that which He created; 2 from the evil of darkness as it descends, 3 From the evil of sorceresses who blow incantations on knots, 4 “And from the evil of the envier when he is envious of me.” 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
