Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Say: 'I take refuge with the Lord of Daybreak 1 From the evil of that which He hath created, 2 And from the evil of darkness when it settles 3 And from the evil of the women blowers upon knots, 4 "And from the evil of the envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
