Allah forgiveth not (The sin of) joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this: one who joins other gods with Allah, Hath strayed far, far away (from the right). 116 They (the pagans) only worship idols and Satan, the persistent rebel. 117 Allah hath accursed him. And he said: surely I shall take of Thine bondmen a portion allotted. 118 Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I will arouse in them false desires; and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah." And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss. 119 He promises them and fills them with fancies, but there is nothing Satan promises them except delusion. 120 They (his dupes) will have their dwelling in Hell, and from it they will find no way of escape. 121 But those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do deeds of righteousness, We shall admit them to the Gardens under which rivers flow (i.e. in Paradise) to dwell therein forever. Allah's Promise is the Truth, and whose words can be truer than those of Allah? (Of course, none). 122 Paradise is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allah a protector or a helper. 123 Whoever does good and believes -whether he is male or female - such shall enter the Garden, and they shall not be wronged in the slightest. 124 Who is better in faith than one who submits himself wholly to God, acts righteously, and follows the religion of Abraham, the upright in faith, whom God chose for a friend? 125 And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; and Allah encompasses all things. 126
