And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
