The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
