3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What think you then of the Lord of all Being?' 87 And he cast a look at the stars 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 Then he slipped unto them striking them with the right hand. 93 And (his people) came toward him, hastening. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 "But Allah has created you and your handwork!" 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 "O my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)!" 100 So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 That was indeed a clear trial. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. 112 And We blessed him, and Isaac; and of their seed some are good-doers, and some manifest self-wrongers. 113

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
