The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8
