The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
