Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Those who disbelieved from among the followers of the Book and the polytheists could not have separated (from the faithful) until there had come to them the clear evidence: 1 An messenger from Allah, rehearsing scriptures kept pure and holy: 2 Containing firm decrees. 3 Nor were the People of the Scripture divided until after the clear proof came unto them. 4 And they are ordered naught else than to serve Allah, keeping religion pure for Him, as men by nature upright, and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due. That is true religion. 5 Those of the deniers of truth among the People of the Book and the polytheists will dwell forever in Hell-fire. They are the worst of creatures. 6 But those who believe, and do righteous deeds, those are the best of creatures; 7 Their recompense lies with their Lord: Gardens of eternity beneath which rivers flow; therein they shall dwell, forever and ever. Allah is well-pleased with them, and they are well-pleased with Him. All this is for him who fears his Lord. 8
