Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
