Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
