The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
