Vanity (Al-Zukhruf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ha'. Mim. 1 I call to witness the lucent Book, 2 Surely We have made it an Arabic Quran that you may understand. 3 And the Qur’an is undoubtedly, in the Original Book with Us, surely the exalted, full of wisdom. 4 Shall We then (warn you not and) take away the Reminder (this Quran) from you, because you are a people Musrifun 5 How many a Prophet We sent among the ancients, 6 but not a Prophet came to them, without they mocked at him; 7 So We destroyed (them)- stronger in power than these;- and (thus) has passed on the Parable of the peoples of old. 8 If you ask them, "Who has created the heavens and the earth?", they will surely answer, "The Almighty, the All Knowing One has created them." 9 Who has made the earth a cradle for you and made thereon paths for you so that, hopefully, you may find your way 10 Who sent down water in due measure from the sky, then quickened a region that was dead -- So shall We bring you forth -- 11 it is He who created all living things in pairs and gave you ships to sail in and beasts to ride upon 12 That ye may mount upon their backs, and may remember your Lord's favour when ye mount thereon, and may say: Glorified be He Who hath subdued these unto us, and we were not capable (of subduing them); 13 And verily, to Our Lord we indeed are to return! 14 And they allot to Him a portion of His bondmen! Lo! man is verily a mere ingrate. 15
