Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and at night.
