3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah cried to Us, and how excellent was Our response! 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 and We established for him a good name among posterity. 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ And lo! of his persuasion verily was Abraham 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 He said, "How can you worship what you yourselves have carved 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They replied: 'Build for him a building and cast him into the fire' 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 "O my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)!" 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 When his son was old enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I have had a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think of this?" He replied, "Father, fulfill whatever you are commanded to do and you will find me patient, by the will of God". 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 You have fulfilled the dream (vision)!" Verily! Thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 So We ransomed him for a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
