The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ THE MOST GRACIOUS 1 has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). 2 He created man, 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 [At His behest] the sun and the moon run their appointed courses; 5 and the stars and the trees bow themselves; 6 And the sky He hath uplifted; and He hath set the measure, 7 so that you would maintain justice. 8 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. 9 And the earth! He hath lain it out for the creatures. 10 Therein are fruits and palm trees with sheaths, 11 Grain with husk, and fragrant grasses. 12 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 13 He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery, 14 And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire. 15 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 16 He is Lord of the two easts and Lord of the two wests. 17 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 18 He let forth the two seas that meet together, 19 between them a barrier they do not overpass. 20 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 21 From both of them emerge pearl and coral. 22 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain you men and jinn then deny? 23 His are the ships, towering on the sea like mountains. 24 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 25

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
