۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
