The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the morning brightness, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
