The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the bright forenoon, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
