The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
