The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And the promised day, 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 by a burning fire 5 As they sat around it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Surely the might of your Lord is great. 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 And yet, they who are bent on denying the truth persist in giving it the lie: 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
