By no means! By the moon, 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 a warning to humans, 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 In Gardens they will question 40 Of evil-doers: 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 until death approached us". 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
