Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
