He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ HE FROWNED and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). 2 What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) 3 Or become reminded so that the reminder should profit him? 4 As for he who is sufficed 5 You pay full attention, 6 Though it is no blame to thee if he grow not (in spiritual understanding). 7 But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge] 8 While he fears [Allah], 9 to him thou payest no heed. 10 NAY, VERILY, these [messages] are but a reminder: 11 So let whosoever will pay heed to it, 12 It is set down on honoured pages, 13 Exalted, purified, 14 Written by the hands of emissaries. 15 Honourable and obedient. 16 Accursed be man! How stubbornly he denies the Truth. 17 Of what thing did He create him? 18 From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; 19 Then He makes the Path easy for him; 20 Then He caused him to die and made him to be buried. 21 Then when He pleases, He will bring him back to life. 22 No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him. 23 Let man reflect on the food he eats. 24 That We pour down the water, pouring (it) down in abundance, 25 Then We cracked the earth open under pressure (of germination) 26 And produce therein corn, 27 grapes, and fresh fodder, 28 and olives and palms, 29 and dense-tree'd gardens, 30 and fruits, and pastures, 31 (These are made so as to be) means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 32 So when the deafening Shout arrives, 33 On the Day a man will flee from his brother 34 his mother, his father, 35 And his wife and his sons; 36 For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him. 37 (Many) faces on that day shall be bright, 38 laughing, rejoicing at glad tidings. 39 Some faces on that Day shall be dust-ridden, 40 enveloped by darkness. 41 Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones. 42
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
